In addition, the UAW filed another complaint in October 2017, accusing Tesla of firing 400 employees who supported his activities. Tesla was also charged with discriminating against blacks, homosexuals and elderly employees.

According to media reports, Tesla may appeal, and the National Labor Relations Board does not have the power to assess punitive damages or hold company executives personally responsible for violations of labor laws.
