AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)03/12 Report--
Tesla's Shanghai super factory includes assembling cars and producing batteries, but Tesla clearly needs more partners to help the factory increase its capacity without being affected by battery supply. After it was exposed that Tesla came into contact with Tianjin Lishen, it was said that Tesla cooperated with Ningde era.
According to foreign media sources, Tesla is seeking cooperation with China's Ningde era to provide batteries for the Model 3 produced by Tesla's Shanghai super factory in the future.
Subsequently, the Ningde era did not deny that it had had contact with Tesla, but there was no news of further cooperation. In response to the Bloomberg report that Tesla is reported to be negotiating with Ningde Times on battery orders, Ningde Times said, "so far, the company has not reached any intention to cooperate with Tesla and has not signed any business agreement."
Similarly, Tianjin Lishen earlier issued an official statement saying that its company had not cooperated with Tesla and had not signed an agreement.
It can be seen that Tesla is looking for a Chinese battery partner and does not have a Shanghai super factory to supply batteries, but there is still no further exact news. CEO Musk has also said that power batteries should be purchased at the vehicle production site in order to meet the demand in a timely manner.
According to the production plan, the Tesla Shanghai Super Factory started at the beginning of the year and can be partially put into production by the end of this year. It is also very possible to start production of domestic Model 3 early next year. The industry expects that the price of the domestic version of Model 3 can be reduced to less than 300000 yuan, which will have a greater impact on China's electric vehicle enterprises.
