AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)09/30 Report--

Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg recently officially announced that its plug-in hybrid supercar Regera broke the world record with 22.87 seconds for 0-400km/h acceleration and 8.62 seconds for 400-0km/h brakes in the 0-400-0km/h speed test.

In foreign countries, the 0400-0km/h speed test is an absolutely brutal test of a car's acceleration and braking ability, and Koenigsegg has been doing this in recent years. The Bugatti Chiron completed the 0-400-0km/h speed record in 41.96 seconds in 2017, but the Koenigsegg Agera RS broke the record less than a month later.

It is understood that the test was conducted by Koenigsegg's official tester Sonny Persson at an airport in the Swedish forest on September 23. On that day, the temperature was 16 degrees Celsius, the test site was windless, and the altitude was 70 meters above sea level. The test environment was favorable for good results.

The previous record holder for the test, also from Koenigsegg, is the Agera RS, which was released in Nevada on November 4, 2017 with a duration of 33.29s.

It is understood that Koenigsegg Regera, released at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, has a 5.0L V8 twin-turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 1115Ps (820kW) and a maximum torque of 1250N ·m. Koenigsegg does not equip it with a gearbox, but is directly connected to the main reducer with a fixed speed ratio of 2.85 through a hydraulic multi-disc clutch to improve energy transfer efficiency by at least 50%.

In addition, the car also has three motors and a lithium battery pack. The comprehensive maximum power of the system reaches 1100kW (1521Ps) and the maximum torque exceeds 2000N ·m.
