A few days ago, as a major city actively promoting the development of new energy, Hebei Province has promoted a total of 30469 vehicles from January to August this year, which has completed the annual task ahead of schedule.

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in the first eight months of this year, China promoted a total of 793000 new energy vehicles, with Hebei Province accounting for 3.8 per cent of the total. Up to now, Hebei Province has promoted more than 120000 new energy vehicles, ranking 11th in the country.

It is understood that the scale of the new energy vehicle industry in Hebei Province has grown from 1 vehicle enterprise and 1 product in 2013 to 10 vehicle enterprises and 65 products at present, with more than 39 new energy vehicle manufacturers of various types, with an annual production capacity of 408000 vehicles.

Among them, Great Wall Automobile is headquartered in Baoding, Hebei Province. Great Wall Automobile, as the leading Chinese independent brand company, has been working hard to improve its engine level in recent years, and in order to more effectively protect the natural environment and enterprise development, Great Wall Automobile officially launched the Euler brand in August 2018, with the launch of three models, Euler iQ, Euler R1 and Euler R2. According to data released by Great Wall Automobile, the Euler series sold a total of 30309 vehicles from January to August this year.

At present, the sales of new energy vehicles in China have jumped to the first level in the world in a few years. Data show that from 2012 to 2015, the sales of new energy vehicles in China were 12000, 17600, 74700 and 331000 respectively. Affected by subsidies, the growth rate slowed down to 507000 vehicles in 2016. Sales of new energy vehicles reached 777000 in 2017, up 53.3 percent from the same period last year, and 1.256 million in 2018, up 61.7 percent from the same period last year.

Although our country still needs to make great efforts in the development of new energy vehicles, but the new energy vehicles is the future trend, no matter how to actively develop new energy vehicles is a strategic goal of our country.
