Judging from the reasons for the recall, the main causes of the recall in the third quarter were the failure of airbags and seat belts, engines and fuel systems, of which airbags and seat belts accounted for 32.82%, engine recalls accounted for 30.85%, and fuel system recalls accounted for 13.28%. In addition to the Takata airbag problem, engine failure is also the main cause of vehicle recall. Beijing Hyundai filed a record with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration on August 8 because the liquid level of the engine increased or caused engine damage when the vehicle was driving for a short distance in a low temperature environment. Recall the production from August 2015 to September 2018, the number of brand new Tusheng cars with 1.6T engines is as high as 400000. It is worth noting that in October 2018, Beijing Hyundai issued a recall because of this issue, and the number of recalls was consistent with the reason.
