Mazda announced new car sales in China in September, with a total of 20619 vehicles sold in September, up 16.3% from 17729 in August. FAW Mazda sold 9517 vehicles last month. Changan Mazda sold 11110.

Mazda, which has been declining for many months in the domestic market, finally reversed in September, with cumulative sales of more than 20, 000 units that month and 161742 units from January to September. The sales of the two major channels from January to September are respectively: FAW Mazda sales of 63451, Changan Mazda sales of 98291. However, it accounts for only 59.9% of the annual sales target of 270000 vehicles challenged by Mazda at the beginning of the year, and the annual target is still difficult to achieve.

In terms of specific models, all models achieved growth in September this year, including the cumulative sales of 7824 Mazda Anksera and 4092 Class B car Atez, while the two SUV models CX-4 and CX-5 sold 5425 and 3111 respectively, with an average increase of more than 500.

In the first nine months, Onksera sold the most, accounting for more than 40% of Mazda brand sales, accounting for more than 40% of total Mazda brand sales. Atez is 29000, and the other two SUV models are CX-4A 34390 and CX-5 27700, respectively. Mazda CX-8, its Mazda CX-8, has yet to disclose specific sales.

As a new-generation product, the next-generation MAZDA3 Onksera was officially launched on September 26, with the official price range of the seven models ranging from 11.59 yuan to 168900 yuan. So far, Mazda 3 has more than 1 million users in the Chinese market.

In the past two months, the CX-5 of Changan Mazda was trapped in a "flameout door" and was complained by many car owners that it decided to recall a total of 77000 domestic second-generation CX-5 cars produced between August 8, 2017 and July 2, 2019. The reason is that the internal pump wheel of the fuel pump core is deformed and interferes with the surrounding parts, which leads to the failure of the fuel pump function and the inability to supply fuel to the engine normally. From this point of view, sales have not been greatly affected.

Mazda, a niche brand, says it will never cut prices, but a reversal of sales growth in September will also give Mazda more courage. If you look at this trend, as Wang Jinhai, deputy general manager of Changan Mazda sales, said earlier, with the appearance of new products, it is believed that Changan Mazda's overall sales will reverse before the end of the year, but the annual target may be difficult to achieve.
