AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)10/05 Report--

Recently, Volvo released the latest sales figures, which show that Volvo's global sales reached 64536 in September, up 6.5% from a year earlier. From January to September, Volvo's cumulative global sales reached 507704, up 7.4% from a year earlier.

Specifically, Volvo has grown in Europe, the United States and China. Among them, the European market sold 31055 vehicles in September, up 3.80% from the same period last year. From January to September, cumulative sales in the European market reached 247610 vehicles, up 6.0% from the same period last year. The US market sold 9323 vehicles in September, up 7.0% from the same period last year. The cumulative sales from January to September were 77432, up 4.70% from the same period last year.

It is worth noting that Volvo's September sales growth was mainly due to hot sales in China, which accounted for about 20% of sales. It is understood that in September this year, Volvo sold 14920 vehicles in the Chinese market, up 13.0% from the same period last year. From January to September, Volvo's cumulative sales reached 109512 vehicles, an increase of 13.8% over the same period last year. Among them, Volvo XC60 and Volvo S90 continued to rise in the domestic market, which is the main reason for Volvo's sales growth in the domestic market.

However, according to the previously released September complaint list, Volvo XC60 ranked second on the list, with 113 complaints due to body resonance, interior noise and engine noise, compared with 74 complaints by Volvo XC60 in August and 33 complaints by Volvo S90 in September, also because of body resonance and interior noise.

In fact, complaints about body resonance and interior noise from Volvo XC60 and S90 began to increase as early as the first half of this year. Some car owners reported that their new car wobbled and caused headaches while driving, but there was no substantive solution to many complaints. The new car was bought for 39 days, but only 20 days after driving, and now the brakes are rusty and dusty.

A similar situation exists in the Volvo S90, even with the new 2020 S90. Some car owners reported that they bought the 2020 Zhiyi deluxe version, the new car has low-frequency resonance when driving, and driving for a long time will cause dizziness. However, the 4S store does not accept these problems, and it is the same feedback to call the manufacturer many times.

What is puzzling is that Volvo has frequent problems, while sales are rising rather than falling, which is really hard to understand. Maybe when you bought Volvo, you focused on quality and price, coupled with terminal discounts, which made a lot of people take action. But when the number of complaints continues to increase and is ignored, how long can Volvo's sales continue to grow?
