Lexus sales in China have soared in recent years, with ES, RX and NX models selling well, but in the compact market, Lexus IS has been reduced to a "niche" model, and now it has to withdraw from the special edition model, limited to 900 units.

A few days ago, Lexus officially released IS F Sport Blackline special edition model, the new car will be launched as the current US IS special edition limited to 900 units, launched a total of four two-wheel drive/four-wheel drive models, the US market price range of 4.52-5.10 million US dollars, equivalent to 3231 - 364,400 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the new car is based on Lexus IS 300F SPORT and IS 350F SPORT models, and basically there is not much change.

Since it is a special edition model, the new car only adds more black kits to the details, such as a dark spindle front grille, dark front bumper side grilles and black rearview mirrors, while the new car is also equipped with dark 18-inch rims designed from its LF-A design.

In terms of interior, the new car features a dark interior dominated by black and named Black NuLuxe; some blue leather is added to the door panels, steering wheel and central control.

In terms of power, the new car is still equipped with 2.0T four-cylinder and 3.5V6 high and low power engines, with maximum power of 245 hp, 264 hp and 315 hp respectively.

The reason why the sales volume is low is mainly because IS has been sold in China in a purely imported way. The starting price of 290,000 yuan is still firm, while the competitor BBA of the same level has different degrees of preferential treatment. In addition, because it is an imported model, the size is not lengthened like other models. Even if there is better control and configuration, the high pricing can only make many consumers discouraged.
