We found that Peugeot 408 vehicles with oil burning problems were concentrated in 2014 and 2015 models, and some owners complained that the engine burned oil seriously after replacing the timing belt. The Peugeot 408 tire cracking problem has a long history, and the number of complaints continues to increase.

In the face of huge complaints, manufacturers do not have better solutions, or issue recall measures to curb persistent complaints, which is worth pondering.

Japanese brand models continued the upward trend in August, with an increase in the number of models on the list compared with last month, and the ranking of some models improved significantly, such as Dongfeng Nissan Qijun and GAC Honda Fit, which jumped to the top ten in the list, and the number of complaints continued to rise. However, Guangzhou Automobile Honda Accord has experienced a short-term surge in complaints due to "stall door". After the manufacturer announced the recall plan, the number of complaints has decreased at present, but there are still cases where the owner complained that the recall was invalid.

Dongfeng Nissan Qijun is the Japanese car with the largest number of complaints in September. Qijun complaint ranking in recent months has climbed, as a model with excellent sales volume seems not to appear this situation, and Nissan's old problems have not been solved, all for gearbox crash abnormal noise, engine abnormal noise, even burning oil abnormal situation. There are also complaints about this problem for Nissan's Sylphy and Xiaoke models.

A 2019 2.0L model owner reflected that the gearbox was shaking seriously, especially between 20-40 per hour, and sometimes there was a feeling of shaking,"went to the 4S shop, got the news that the gearbox had no fault code, and also did a so-called whole car computer upgrade system!" The problem is still unresolved,"the owner said.

The problem of abnormal noise and failure to start of GAC Honda's Fit engine continued to erupt, and the complaint ranking rose to the seventh place in September. It is understood that there are abnormal noise, no response to start ignition, starter failure and other problems in the start of the cold car.

Another Japanese car Guangqi Honda Accord broke out "stall door", August 8 manufacturers announced the recall plan, more than 220,000 Accord has stall hidden danger. The complaints of German Volkswagen models are relatively unified, with abnormal gearbox noise, abnormal engine noise and peculiar smell in the vehicle. The top 10 Volkswagen cars occupied three seats, including Lavida, which won the runner-up complaint in September, a large number of complaints about odor inside the car, Sagitar, which ranked fifth, and Lingdu, which ranked eighth.

In addition, the independent brands account for 44% of the complaints, but the complaints about the models are scattered. There are only four independent models on the list, among which Chery Arize 5 ranks 10th, with complaints of body rust and abnormal sound of shock absorber; Zhongtai T600 and Jianghuai Ruifeng S3 have many small problems; Geely Dihao also has problems of body rust and engine abnormal sound.

The frequent customers on the complaint list reflect the objective problems existing in the model, and at the same time, they will also bring certain influence to brand reputation and after-sales service. At the same time, the size of complaints also objectively reflects the reliability of a model. The complaint list not only reflects the quality stability of vehicles, but also reflects the attitude of dealers and manufacturers to solve problems.
