In terms of specific models, Onksera is still the main sales force of Mazda, with sales of 7842 in September and 68500 in the first three quarters, accounting for more than 40 per cent of Mazda's total sales. Atez sold 4092 vehicles in September and sold a total of 29005 from January to September this year. The Mazda CX-4 sold 5425 vehicles in September and a total of 34399 from January to September this year.

After Mazda CX-5 entered the Chinese market by way of import in 2012, it attracted many consumers because of its excellent performance in appearance and technology. In September, 3111 Mazda CX-5 models were sold in September, compared with 27668 in the first nine months of this year.

Sales of this model are not very good, and in September, CX-5 also announced a recall of 77000 CX-5 vehicles because the fuel filter was easy to cause the engine to stall while in motion.

It is worth noting that in June last year, Mazda CX-5 recalled 45600 cars for turning pinions, and the two recalls had an impact on CX-5 's brand image.

It is understood that at the beginning of this year, Mazda set an annual sales target of 270000 vehicles, but according to the current data, Mazda currently achieves only 59.9% of the total sales target, which is still a long way from the annual sales target. Although Mazda has launched new Atez and Mazda 3, it is still a big challenge to achieve the annual sales target.

Although the sales situation of Mazda in the first three quarters is not optimistic, coupled with the squeeze of its own brands, it may also be very difficult to win sales through change and replacement, coupled with product quality recalls, which have deepened Mazda's sales difficulties. Of course, if Mazda can keep up with the general direction of development, I believe it will be able to fight a beautiful turnaround at a certain tuyere in the future.

It is understood that at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, Mazda will unveil its first mass-produced pure electric model, which is based on a new platform, or will be a SUV model between CX-5 and CX-3. If it enters the Chinese market in the future, it will be able to meet more demand for electric cars and boost sales. In addition, Mazda will work with Toyota to develop pure electric models and plug-in hybrid models in the future, and the first plug-in hybrid model is expected to be unveiled in 2021.
