Subaru Automobile (China) Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the Administration of defective Automobile products recall and the implementation methods of defective Automobile products recall regulations. From November 4, 2019, some imported forest man, Lion and arrogant tiger series cars will be recalled, totaling 667. The details are as follows:

(I) some of the 2015-2017 forest man series vehicles produced during the period from June 30, 2015 to February 17, 2018, totaling 220vehicles;

(2) some of the 2016 and 2017 Li Lion series cars produced during the period from September 11, 2015 to September 5, 2017, totaling 242;

(3) some of the 2015-2017 series cars produced during the period from July 15, 2015 to September 13, 2017 were imported, totaling 205vehicles.

In some vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the change of the engine exhaust manifold gasket style and the unreasonable fastening torque indication of the nut installing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head on the drawing, the torque of the exhaust manifold fastening nut is lower than the specified value. Vibration during vehicle driving and other factors may lead to loosening of engine exhaust manifold, resulting in unpurified tail gas leakage, which does not meet the requirements of vehicle emission standards; in addition, the leaked tail gas may damage engine brackets, wiring harnesses and other components near the exhaust manifold, resulting in safety risks.

Subaru Automobile (China) Co., Ltd. will check the torque of the exhaust manifold fastening nut for the vehicles within the recall range, replace the new exhaust manifold and gasket if it does not meet the specified values, and tighten the nut with the correct torque; at the same time, check the engine bracket, wire harness and other peripheral parts, and replace new parts if damaged, so as to eliminate safety risks.

Subaru Automobile (China) Co., Ltd. will notify the relevant users by registered letter through authorized dealers and arrange for free maintenance.
