The domestic version of the Cadillac XTS was officially launched in China in 2013, with a price ranging from 34.99 yuan to 569900 yuan, competing with Audi A6L, BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class models. At the beginning of listing, it won the favor of a number of consumers with the help of low starting price and atmospheric American design. However, as the iteration of the product slows down and more new Cadillac models are launched, the product power of this model weakens year by year. In the future, this part of the market will be replaced by CT5 and CT6 respectively.

After the suspension of production of XTS in North America, the only Cadillac XTS market in the world, which is produced and sold, is only the Chinese market. With the domestic listing of CT5 approaching gradually, the XTS in the domestic market may also be delisted gradually in the future.

Previously, XTS provided 2.0T four-cylinder turbocharged engine and 3.6L V6 naturally aspirated engine in the domestic market, but with the increasingly stringent domestic emission regulations and fuel efficiency value regulations, the later XTS model only provided a 2.0T four-cylinder turbocharged engine powertrain.
