The staff in charge of the site said that these ES8 are the inventory cars sold by the NIO Yizhuang delivery center, and ES8 began to appear in the parking lot about a month ago.

As can be seen from the records left in the car, the inventory of these cars can be traced back to April 24 and most recently to September 4.

It is worth noting that in September, the ES8 sold only 293 vehicles, while the ES6 sold 1726; from July to September, the cumulative delivery volume of ES8 was only 603, while that of ES6 reached 2194.

Whether it is September delivery or third-quarter delivery, the delivery of ES6 is more than six times that of ES8. Previously, Lailai said that the reason for the low ES8 sales was due to lack of capacity affecting delivery. For now, what may affect ES8 sales is not production capacity, but really can not sell.

It is understood that the ES6 began to appear on the market at the end of last year and began to be delivered in June this year. From all aspects of the performance of the car, except that the size is less than ES8, the performance of the product power is better than that of ES8, and the price is also lower than that of ES8. In this case, consumers give priority to ES6,ES8 when buying cars and are abandoned by consumers.

Some car owners said that once the ES6 came out, who would buy ES8? As a result, ES8 sales began to decline sharply after ES6 began delivery in the second quarter.

In order to save sales, Xilai launched a free electricity exchange service in August, and all the first owners of existing new ES8 and ES6 models can enjoy a lifetime free electricity exchange service. In September, Xilai went online with preferential services such as 30% down payment, three-year interest-free installments and a 150000 reduction in the price of rented battery cars, but all of them are difficult to overcome.

At present, it is difficult to be optimistic about the situation of Xilai Motor. Recently, media reported that Lailai is negotiating a financing of more than 5 billion yuan with Wuxing District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, which will be used to build an automobile factory with an annual production capacity of 200000 vehicles. Shortly after the news came out, a relevant person from the Information Office of Wuxing District Government responded to the news of "5 billion yuan financing": "I have just talked about it, but I have no intention of reaching a sexual agreement. In view of the excessive risk assessment, further negotiations have been stopped."

After the news, shares of Xilai fell 5.8%, the biggest drop in six days, to $1.46.

As the leader of the whole new energy vehicle, NIO's performance is not entirely satisfactory. According to the financial report, the company's total revenue in the second quarter of this year was 1.509 billion yuan, down 7.5% from the previous quarter, while the net loss was 3.286 billion yuan, up 83.1% from the same period last year.

Although Li Bin outperformed other new car-building forces with a financing amount of 37.14 billion yuan, he lost the most of all the new car-building forces.

At the end of 2019, the knockout race of new car-building forces has accelerated, and funding has become one of the urgent problems to be solved for Xilai, which has large-scale layoffs, sold FE fleet and changed its sales model.
