Hirose calls the new rotor hybrid technology "XEV", and Hirose describes it as a design similar to the Toyota Prius, where the hybrid system can not only generate electricity, but also directly drive the vehicle when needed. Reported that Mazda will launch a new electric car model within this year, of which the "XEV" may also be officially unveiled, and then put on sale in Australia, Japan and other countries next year.
