A few days ago, the declaration information of the domestic SAIC GM Chevrolet medium and large SUV--Blazer appeared in the 325th batch of new cars announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It means that medium and large SUV models in Chevrolet will make a comeback.

From the information, we can see that the appearance of the new car is basically the same as that of the overseas five-seat board, and the family-style front face design is adopted. It is reported that the design is inspired by the Chevrolet sports car Comero (especially the raised rib line on the hood). The front face is a large air intake grille, embedded with chrome trim decoration, and the headlights on both sides are split design. In addition, the new car in addition to the ordinary version of the model will also launch the RS version, the outer rearview mirror, front grille, wheel brake calipers and other red and black color matching, a stronger sense of movement.

As SAIC GM's Chevrolet's own strength is mediocre, the main complaint issues involved are "gearbox abnormal noise, setbacks, oil leakage", including the Cruz, Malibu XL, explorer and other popular Chevrolet models. Of course, the same problem exists in other SAIC GM brands.

SAIC GM, which once dominated the top three domestic manufacturers in terms of sales, seems to have collapsed. According to data, SAIC GM sold 140067 vehicles (including Buick, Chevrolet and Cadillac) in September, down 23.28% from a year earlier. SAIC GM's cumulative wholesale sales from January to September were 1219483 vehicles, down 14.98 per cent from a year earlier.
