AION LX, the second model of GAC's AION series, will be officially put on the market after it has been pre-sold with two models, with pre-prices starting from 300000 yuan and 250000 yuan respectively. Based on GAC NE's second-generation pure electric platform GEP, the new car will be equipped with a front and rear dual-motor high-performance electric four-wheel drive system to launch four different mileage models with a maximum comprehensive range of up to 650km. In terms of appearance, AION LX uses a large number of family design elements, using "cloud-piercing arrow" through the car logo to connect the decorative board of left and right headlights, this design is similar in the Aion S model. The lower air inlet and fog lamp area are largely designed with black panels and honeycomb grids, while the front lips are coated with matte silver.

The side part uses the current mainstream floating roof, and adopts the rear design of the slip-back type and the hidden door design; the design of the rear of the car is similar to the through taillight and bow LED design of the Aion S, and the rear bumper is also decorated with a lot of black. In terms of power, GAC NE Aion LX is equipped with the latest generation CATL 811 ternary lithium battery technology, the front and rear double motors peak power 300kW (408Ps), peak torque 700N ·m, higher energy density of the battery system. In terms of mileage, Aion LX's NEDC mileage is 650km and the acceleration time from 0 to 100km/h is only 3.9s.

Aion LX mainly focuses on the medium-sized pure electric SUV market. According to the different levels of power and battery life, the prices of all five models are between 24.96 and 349600 yuan. Competitors include ES6, BYD Tang EV, Roewe MARVEL X and other products.

At the beginning of the year, GAC NE set a sales target of 40, 000 for 50, 000. now it seems that although the overall environment of the car market is not friendly, Aion S achieved sales of more than 10, 000 after only four months on the market, and its performance is also outstanding.
