Evergrande, which does not have a car from the beginning, then buy it first. since January this year, Evergrande directly acquired a 51% stake in NEVS to become a major shareholder of the latter, obtaining the conditions for rapid car construction. NEVS has factories in Sweden and Tianjin, mainly based on Sweden's SAAB Phoenix E platform and Saab technology to build pure electric vehicles.

Subsequently, Evergrande formed a joint venture with Koeniger, in which Evergrande has a 65% stake and will use Koenigsag's technology patents and brands. Take a stake in Kanai, a Japanese power battery company, and acquire technologies such as automobile manufacturing, power batteries, hub motors and so on. The manufacturing base was also completed in Shenyang.

In June this year, the Evergrande New Energy Automobile Group, built by Xu Jiayin, ushered in the first mass-produced car, and Evergrande Guoneng 93 model came off the line at the Tianjin factory.

In early October, Evergrande New Energy vehicle announced that 15 world masters of automobile styling design had signed a strategic cooperation contract in Shenzhen to provide styling design for the full range of "Hengchi" models. The top 15 automobile styling designers come from Germany, Italy, the United States, France, Japan and other countries.

On October 23, Xu Jiayin and his entourage came to Germany again and inspected the headquarters of the world's leading auto parts enterprises, BASF Group and ThyssenKrupp Group (thyssenkrupp) successively. This time, he will visit Germany again and is expected to reach strategic cooperation with various auto parts giants soon.

In 2018 alone, Evergrande's direct investment in the new energy vehicle track exceeded 20.4 billion yuan, and this year's intensive acquisition investment also exceeded 40 billion yuan.

Less than a year after marching into new energy vehicles, Evergrande has completed its strategic layout in the fields of core technology, manufacturing, R & D and design, with its rapid development speed and fierce layout momentum unique in the history of the world automobile industry. So Evergrande continues to join hands with various giants to integrate the world's top resources from a global perspective, hoping to quickly become the leading player in the new energy automobile industry.

However, for such famous brands, which are "assembled" by money, Xu Jiayin did not seem to have made reference to the sales of other target companies before setting the annual production target of 1 million vehicles.

According to Tesla, the world's largest new energy car company by sales, the global new energy car company delivered a total of 144300 vehicles last year, according to its 2018 results. Tesla CEO Musk said that when the Chinese plant goes into production, it plans to produce 500000 cars in 2019.
