Data show that the operating income of Great Wall Motor in the third quarter of this year was 21.202 billion yuan, an increase of 18.01% over the same period last year. In the first three quarters, Great Wall Motor achieved a cumulative operating income of 62.578 billion yuan and a net profit of 2.917 billion yuan for shareholders of listed companies.
Great Wall said that the year-on-year and month-on-month increase in net profit attributed to its shareholders in the third quarter was mainly due to factors such as the company's sales growth and further strengthening of cost control capabilities.
According to the sales data released a few days ago, the sales of Great Wall are really unexpected, especially when the independent brand is squeezed by the joint venture brand. Data show that Great Wall sold 100019 vehicles in September, up 15.33 per cent from a year earlier, while Great Wall sales totaled 724113 in the first three quarters, up 7 per cent from a year earlier. In the first three quarters, Great Wall pickup sales totaled 98270, up 0.45% from the same period last year. The Great Wall Cannon officially went on sale in September, and the new car is based on the brand-new P71 platform and uses a new car logo.
