AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)10/27 Report--
With the development of new energy vehicles, car manufacturers around the world are also gradually making efforts on new energy vehicles, the introduction of pure electric has a high battery life, at the same time, its appearance is also basically consistent with the fuel version, more to meet the needs of consumers. Compared with Japanese car manufacturers, the pure electric developed by them is smaller and cheaper.
At the Tokyo Motor Show on Thursday, Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, Honda and other car companies showed off their pure electric prototypes that may be launched locally or even in the future, but these electric cars have short range and limited top speed. Obviously, Japanese car companies are in sharp contrast to Volkswagen, GM and other car companies.
Toyota showed off the ultra-small new pure electric Ultra Compact BEV at the Tokyo Motor Show, which is Toyota's first all-electric car and is expected to go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2020. The car has a top speed of 60km/h, can drive 100km on a single charge, and can accommodate two people.
Lexus launched the LF-30 concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show, which is Lexus's first all-electric concept car and is of great significance to Lexus. As can be seen from the name, L stands for Lexus, F for the future, and 30, which means Lexus was founded 30 years ago. The exterior design is also very dreamy, which can be said to represent the future design concept of Lexus. The mileage of the car is 500km, the maximum speed is 200km / h, the acceleration time of 0-100km/h is 3.8s.
The Mazda MX-30 is also the first Lianhuachina electric car under the Mazda brand, which is expected to go on sale next year. The length, width and height of MX-30 are 4395/1795mm/1570mm and the wheelbase is 2655mm. In terms of power, the e-SKYACTIV pure electric assembly carried by the MX-30 will exceed the maximum range of the 200km.
Nissan also unveiled a light all-electric concept car, the IMk, at the Tokyo Motor Show, with a compact body design, state-of-the-art Nissan Smart Technology and a strong pure electric power system.
Honda unveiled its new electric sub-brand, e:Technology, at the Tokyo Motor Show. As an electric brand, "e:Technology" includes not only Honda's electric cars, but also electric motorcycles and all the electric power products.
At the auto show, Honda unveiled a new generation of flying cars with a "e:HEV" logo on the rear, which can be said to be the first hybrid model of the "e:Technology" brand.
Japanese manufacturers see the development of small pure electric cars as a way to solve the problems of high cost and battery life, but in fact other car companies have similar methods. After Daimler's Smart brand launched the Fortwo electric version, it has a place in the global market. But at present, these small pure electric have not yet formed the mainstream, for consumers, cost-effective and high battery life is the priority standard.
