Volkswagen TACQUA is based on MQB A0 platform, which corresponds to SAIC-Volkswagen T-Cross model, forming the dual-car market strategy of North-South Volkswagen. The new car will go on sale at the end of 2019, and FAW-Volkswagen already has two SUV models: Tan GE and Tan Yue.

According to the information declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Volkswagen TACQUA uses the family style of FAW-Volkswagen SUV, while the side and tail are basically the same as SAIC-Volkswagen T-Cross, with through taillight group shape and hidden exhaust layout.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the car are 4194/1760/1601mm, the wheelbase is 2651mm, its wheelbase and body width are the same as the T-Cross gauntlet, the length is slightly shorter, and the height data is larger.

In terms of power, the Volkswagen TACQUA is also equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and a 1.4T engine, with a maximum output of 113hp and 150hp respectively, and a maximum torque of 145N m and 250N m respectively. The transmission system matches a six-speed automatic transmission and a seven-speed double clutch transmission.
