It is understood that Jiangsu Minan Electric vehicle Co., Ltd. was established on February 15, 2015. the registered capital of the company is 130 million US dollars. It is a joint venture between Huaian Development Holdings Co., Ltd. and Zhantu (China) Investment Co., Ltd.

In November 2016, Minan Automobile was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission for the construction of the pure electric passenger vehicle project. The construction of the Minan production base began in February 2017, and the construction of the base was not completed until November 2018.
